With a Continued Commitment to Sustainability, CropLife America Announces New Director of Environmental Sustainability
CropLife America (CLA) is excited to welcome Julie Savoie as the new lead of its environmental sustainability program. There is a largely unknown role that pesticides play in protecting the environment by allowing farmers to produce more food using fewer resources. Ms. Savoie will work with independent researchers and others to explain how pesticides enable regenerative farming practices such as no-till farming and cover crops. Pesticides play a crucial role in meeting climate goals, promoting biodiversity, growing more food and fiber, and ensuring food security.
