CLA and ASTA Submit Joint Comments to MPCA on Waste Treated Seed

CLA and the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) submitted joint public comments to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) on considered amendments on waste treated seed rules governing solid and hazardous waste, following legislation that passed last session prompting this request for comment (RFC). This follows CLA and ASTA joint comments submitted during the first request for comment by MPCA. The second RFC expands the range of amendments for consideration of the Solid Waste and Hazardous Waste administrative rules chapters. The comments reiterated support for existing MPCA waste treated seed guidance and concerns with inclusion of rules in the hazardous waste chapter.
