New Government Relations Specialist Brings Unique Perspective to International Issues Facing the Pesticide Industry

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, CropLife America (CLA) is excited to welcome Molly O’Connor to the association’s government relations team. Molly will join the organization as director, federal government relations, bringing with her a new perspective and expertise in the areas of global policy and trade.

From tariffs to regulatory provisions to new trade agreements—our business, and the business of our farm customers, is dependent upon open and fair trade. Molly’s passion for agricultural advocacy brings a unique perspective to our growing organization” Chris Novak, President and CEO of CLA said. “Her knowledge and expertise of international trade policy, coupled with key relationships in government and with our allies, will help CLA better represent our members’ global needs.”

Prior to joining CLA, Molly served as a senior policy advisor at Olsson Frank Weeda Law (OFW Law). In this role, Molly covered international trade issues for a variety of agriculture policy clients, including serving as the international trade staff for the National Association of Wheat Growers and assisting international clients with tariff and free trade agreement issues. Molly also served on the OFW Law PAC Board, growing the PAC through extensive fundraising and strategic planning to select campaigns, and helping clients develop their internal strategies. Molly earned a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business from Colorado State University.
