CLA and RISE Supports ESA Interagency Working Group Reauthorization

CropLife America and RISE led industry stakeholders in signing on to a letter, initiated by the American Bird Conservancy, to House and Senate Agriculture Committee leaders requesting that the FIFRA Interagency Working Group (IWG), created in the 2018 Farm Bill, be reauthorized in the current farm bill. The letter was signed by a broad range of environmental NGOs and industry stakeholders, and shares support for “efforts being undertaken by both career staff and the IWG to make progress on improving the process for Endangered Species Act (ESA) review for pesticide registration decisions.”
