CropLife America Welcomes EPA Action on New Pesticide Registrations

June 30, 2026

Arlington, Va. — CropLife America today issued the following media statement after the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) advanced several pesticide registration actions that will provide farmers with access to new and innovative crop protection tools:

“CropLife America (CLA) welcomes the Environmental Protection Agency’s action to advance several new and innovative pesticide product registrations. We appreciate Administrator Lee Zeldin, EPA leadership, and the career scientists whose work helped move these applications through the agency’s rigorous, science-based review process. The products approved and published in today’s Federal Register are supported by farmers who need access to these innovations, making EPA’s actions especially meaningful.

“EPA’s decisions demonstrate that rigorous science and timely decision-making can go hand in hand, providing farmers with the certainty they need to make critical planning and investment decisions for the growing season. As farmers face increasing pressure from weeds, pests, and plant diseases, access to new crop protection technologies helps protect yields, boost productivity, and support an abundant, affordable, and nutritious food supply.

“CLA member companies remain committed to investing in the research and development of innovative technologies that strengthen American agriculture, support rural communities, and enhance U.S. competitiveness. We look forward to continuing to work with EPA to ensure farmers have timely access to these important tools while upholding the rigorous scientific standards that make the U.S. pesticide regulatory system one of the most trusted in the world.”
