CropLife America Applauds Introduction of Newly-Released 2026 Farm Bill

February 17, 2026

CropLife America (CLA) today praised U.S. House Committee on Agriculture Chairman Glenn “GT” Thompson (R-Pa.) for releasing the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026, the latest version of a farm bill.

“Chairman Thompson continues to demonstrate strong leadership in recognizing the needs of American agriculture and the importance of the farm bill in supporting our farmers and the families across America who rely on healthy, affordable, and abundant food,” said CLA President and CEO Alexandra Dunn. “Farmers need continued access to pesticides approved by the Environmental Protection Agency through its rigorous, science-based regulatory process, to protect crops from weeds, pests, and diseases and to remain globally competitive, and we support the inclusion of several important provisions in this bill which support that goal.

“We look forward to working with members on both sides of the aisle to advance this legislation and secure its passage in 2026 to strengthen and support U.S. agriculture.”
